In case you have Windows 8 or a Windows Mobile-based phone, you may need to convert Flash videos and applications to Siverlight, as this is the most used format for interactive media content in the latest versions of Windows. An application which can help you do just this is SilverX. This app allows you to convert any Flash file into a Silverlight-compatible file and even Windows 8 widget.
After installing the program, the first thing to do is to select the desired Flash file which will be converted. SilverX supports any kind of Flash file, even larger ones. After selecting the Flash file, the next step is to go to the Settings window and select the output format. Optionally, the user can configure the output Silverlight file to be played automatically and also to auto-load.
After making all these settings, the conversion process can begin. This can be performed just by clicking on the large Convert button available in the interface.
